highly distinct from the historical notion of a saxophone, bass and drums trio, the group uses a wide range of extended techniques transforming their acoustic instruments into generators of psychoacoustic or seemingly electronic sound streams and events. the trio methodically develops long, cyclical arcs of tension, applying a particularly broad dynamic range and generating a heightened awareness of the room's acoustic character.
