der kreis des gegenstandes was founded in berlin 2009. the group approaches composing as a collective process - utilizing graphic notation, codified developmental methods and repetition in the creation of a unique aesthetic framework. these large-scale experiences develop methodically - with all material engaged, recontextualised and thoroughly researched - gradually evolving to hold a radically shifted mirror up to its source sound.
